The problem with being in France...

Is that you miss newsworthy items like: Buddy D* and ODB passing away, the Charlotte Hornets becoming the New Orleans Hornets, and even things like your favourite writer's birthday. Yup, happy birthday Mr. J. Maxwell Coetzee.

*(oh, and that Buddy D guy, yeah, the Lacombite gave me the rundown. I'm not from New Orleans...so that was less news than education... however, say Buddy D and ODB really fast, four times, while spinning anti-clockwise. I guarantee after that, you'll be able to speak like ODB and dance like Buddy D... or is it the other way round?)
